She closes her eyes and looks back to a time
A time where love and happiness existed
Where fear and loneliness had no part in the picture
As tears roll down her face she remembers smiling faces
And joyous occasions where love bonded all

Searching deeper for signs, reasons as to the cause
Questioning everything she has ever done
She screams out loud "I'm a failure! I'm a failure!"
She feels unworthy and a total disappointment to all
The tears roll down her face longing for a warm embrace

The love that she once had and shared
Is replaced with sadness and despair
Her fears and feelings of unworthiness
Overpowers her better judgment

These four walls that surround her
Protect her from the outside world
But can't protect her from herself
As she sits on her bed
With voices in her head
A constant battle of emotions
Finally comes to an end
